Justi BaumGardt
A fixture in the Washington state soccer scene, Coach Justi Baumgardt is a former US Women’s National Team Player, earning her first cap at just 17 years of age and continuing with the squad for over six years (1993-1999). The No. 1 Girls’ Soccer rRcruit in the nation, Baumgardt played at the University of Portland, leading the Pilots to three final fours and one national championship game, while being named an All-American three times and a Herman Trophy finalist twice. She played professionally for the Sacramento Storm (2000), as well as for the NY Power and Washington Freedom (2001-2003), teams formed in the first professional women’s league in the U.S. She has a US Soccer B license and has coached youth soccer at varying levels since 2004. Justi brings a competitive fire to the game, is strong tactically, and has put together an enviable coaching staff.
Jhon Kennedy Hurtado
Jhon Kennedy Hurtado joins for the 2024 season as our Assistant Coach. Jhon was a starting defender for the Seattle Sounders and was a 2009 MLS Player of the Year finalist and a 2009 MLS All-Star. He appeared in 133 MLS regular season games and 11 playoff games. He is a 3 time US Open Cup champion. He also earned a trial and preseason with AC Milan. His professional career included Chivas USA, Deportivo Cali, Real Cartagena, and Union Magdalena. Since retiring, he has coached at multiple youth clubs in the area. Jhon has a USSF B coaching license.
Javier Cruz
Javier Cruz teams up with our 2024 staff bringing a breadth of tactical insight. Javi has a Barca Academy Coach Diploma (Spain), as well as an Advance Tactical Analysis (Spain) certification. In addition, he is credentialed with a BFut Educator Level 2 (Brazil) and a USSF C license. He has been coaching for 10 years and prior to that played in college and semi-pro.
Wilson Kasinga
Wilson began as a youth coach in December of 2020, joining Eastside FC. Wilson has supported many players in refining their technical ability, tactical understanding, and ability to problem-solve on the pitch, creating a platform for them to reach and compete at higher levels of play. He recently finished my USSF National C-License coaching course and will be starting his National B License in Winter of 2025. He looks forward to supporting his colleagues in cultivating a high-level performance environment for our players to showcase their ability to compete and thrive at the semi-professional level.
Isaac Tallant
Isaac Tallant signs for the 2024 season as our goalkeeping coach. Isaac has 5 years coaching experience in the League of Ireland most notably with professional Irish premier league side St Patrick’s Athletic winning the U19 League of Ireland National Championship in 2022 qualifying for the UEFA U19 Champions League. Prior to that, he was director of goalkeeping at Wexford FC & CK United in the LOI Academy league. Isaac was also a coach for the Republic of Ireland CP soccer team competing at a CP World Cup & European Championships in Spain & Italy. As a player Isaac played for the Shelbourne FC academy & captained his SETU soccer team for 3 years. Isaac holds a degree in Sports Coaching & Management from SETU. He is currently the Director of Goalkeeping at Seattle Celtic.
Dr. Kelly McCraken
Dr. Kelly McCracken is a dual credentialed physical therapist and athletic trainer. Kelly’s ambition to excel as a top provider in the clinic and with athletes on the sports field allows her to be an excellent addition to the team for the 2024 season. She currently works at HIDEF Physical Therapy with athletes of all levels to ensure continued success in their movement goals
Ryan Jackson
Ryan Jackson takes on the Speed/Agility and Strength/Conditioning for the 2024 season. Ryan is currently the Head Soccer Specialist at Ford Sports Performance. He has extensive coaching and professional playing experience. His professional career included FC Dallas and SIF (Sweden). He has Certified Sports Spec. Strength and Conditioning, as well as a License for NPTA Sports Nutrition and Training.
