Meet Our 2026 Coaches!
We’re happy to announce three new coaches and one returning coach to complete our staff this year!
Lead Assistant Coach George Singh
George played soccer at all levels around Seattle, from youth and semiprofessional teams in the USISL (a USL precursor), to the Pacific Coast League, to the A-League-era Sounders. He has developed Seattle-area talent as a coach for many years, including in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy and the ECNL. He spent 15 years at Seattle United, where he was one of the original directors.
Assistant Technical Coach David Griffiths
David is an experienced soccer executive, coach, and program leader with a career spanning grassroots to elite player development across the U.S. and U.K. Originally from Cardiff, Wales, he currently serves as a director at Pac NW Soccer Club, where he oversees programming and community initiatives. He has UEFA and USSF B licenses and has held key roles with Seattle United, SYSA, Washington Youth Soccer, and the Sounders.
Goal Keeper Coach Elmer Rodriguez
As a coach, Elmer has developed and led goal keeper training programs for teams like Crossfire Premier, Northwest University, and the Snohomish County Steelheads. He was also Assistant Coach for the women’s team at Northwest. He’s returning for his second year with Midlakes. “I love the way everything is running at Midlakes. … I’m looking forward to being able to give back to the athletes.” In all his coaching, he wants to be a positive role model to the players and the community. And he loves the Eastside. “I’ve been here in Washington for 15 years, and everything has just been great.” What else is he looking forward to this year? “Winning the league.”
Video Analyst Seyti Sidibay
Seyti was born and raised in Saudi Arabia until the age of 12 and speaks both Arabic and Mandingo. He played semiprofessional soccer in Norway and has been coaching for 13 years. His experience includes the Sounders Futures program and Pac NW. A USSF A-licensed coach, Seyti spent last year as the head coach of division rivals FC Olympia. He’s currently the head coach at Washington Premier FC.
